Uniformed Police Officers are generally the first contact citizens have with members of our agency. Police Officers respond to citizens requests for assistance in the community. All officers have received extensive training in order to perform their duties. During a normal workday, Police Officers handle routine and emergency calls for service along with in-progress crimes. Additional duties of Police Officers include writing reports, enforcing traffic laws, conducting criminal investigations, processing crime scenes, interviewing suspects, witnesses and victims and more.
Our agency takes pride in our service to the community. Bridging the gap between the Police Department and the community is how we continue to build our trust. Our Officers address long term community concerns from citizens to create a safer environment. Our primary goals is to improve the quality of life for our residents and visitors.
